Creative Summit is an annual event held at Nordanå in Skellefteå, in the north of Sweden, where nature is on your doorstep and the midnight sun shines through the night. On June 13th & 14th, we bring great minds together from all over the world to share, talk and think about how the communication industry will evolve in the future.
This will be our fifth Creative Summit and if you're curious of previous years event, check the timeline below.
Welcome!
Peter Mandalh, Producer of Creative Summit
»I can honestly say that I've never been to any place that has a higher concentration of ridiculously creative people.«- Jeff Voris / Disney / On the Creative Summit 2009
Gareth is the Chief Strategy Officer at Goodby, SIlverstein and
Partners, an agency he joined in 2009 as the Director of Digital
Strategy. He is charged with evolving the strategy discipline and is
responsible for the output and day-to-day running of the department.
Prior to joining GSP, Gareth was the Head of Planning at Modernista!
but he began his career in the UK and worked at TBWA, dfgw and Lowe,
where he was lucky enough to help develop award winning communications
for a diverse bunch of clients including Waterstone’s, fcuk, the BBC,
Reebok and Unilever.
Gareth serves on the boards of Boulder Digital Works and the VCU
Brandcenter, and sits on the Google Creative Leadership Council where
he is the only 'non-creative'. He is one of very few planners in the
industry to have judged leading strategy (Jay Chiat), creative (Clio)
and effectiveness (EFFIE and inaugural Cannes Effectiveness Lions)
awards and has been recognised by his peers as the most respected
planning director in the US.
Jonathan Harris is coming to Creative Summit this year and he's also putting on an exhibition in Skellefteå.
And as an added bonus for everyone attending Creative Summit, you'll also be invited to a private showing. And to give you an introduction to Jonathan, we thought this video would do the job. We think you'll find it very interesting.
